Whitby Whites’ annual Leeds On The Road event was held on Friday 4th November 2011. The event was held at our usual venue at Whitby Rugby Club.  The event kicked off at 7:30PM , with a panel consisting of  Peter Lorimer,  Andy Lonergan , Lloyd Sam and Charlie Taylor . Also in attendance and helping run the evening was Stix Lockwood and his wife Anne , Lorna Tinker our Membership Secretary . The evening started with a questions and answers forum and @ half time a pie & peas supper was served up as ever by Jane , Karen , Nicola , Fran and Nicole . Youngsters Jack Gale , Morgan Russell and Ellie Schofield did that good of a job selling raffle tickets that we ran out , well done . Second half was more questions and the evening was finished off with a disco by Mr Liam Ventress . Some pretty bad dancing was witnessed ( Ace Of Spades ) ! Also worth mentioning is the effort made by others to travel to the event , with mini-buses coming from Scarboro’ , Teesside and Loftus . And not forgeting the Farrer family who once again came over from Leeds . Thank’s to all who turned up ( 122 in total ) and hope to see ya next year .
